About Wheaton, IL - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Wheaton is a small town with a big heart. Not far from Chicago, it is never boring but generally peaceful and safe. There are a wide variety of activities throughout the year for every season, holiday, event and age group. When the cold sets in and the holidays are near, the town really comes alive. Yuletide Treasures is a holiday event put on by DuPage Art League. It is one of the best places to shop for local fine arts. Another art walk is a “Gift to Remember” which is a walk through 12 lovely downtown stores looking for gifts. The Christmas activities are countless – nativity plays, gingerbread contests, and carriage rides just to name a few more.

While the locals love to celebrate their lives now with a great deal of fun and festivity, they also cherish their past and their traditions which is a huge part of the town’s celebratory ambiance. The community is safer and cheaper than Chicago and people gravitate here for many reasons. All of the local lore and culture are in Wheaton at the county museum. Collection, protection, analysis, and display of resources which document the past of DuPage County and its association to Illinois and the country, and to offer local history services for historical organizations and for intellectual endeavors. Stacy's Tavern Museum is a prized refurbishment of a genuine 1840's wayside inn in its original location on Geneva Road. The tavern was built by Moses Stacy in 1846 and was mainly constructed of wood on a foundation of native boulders. Visitors will see what existence was like in the 1840's, not just for the Stacy ancestors but for their visitors, as well. This is the perfect place to check out with the kids on a cold Illinois day.

But, there is no shortage of fun to be had in the warmer weather. The nearby town of Bloomingdale hosts a lovely Farmer’s Market in the summer months. Another nearby town is the upscale village of Glen Ellyn. They have many amazing amenities but one of the very best is the Village Green Links which has a recently renovated clubhouse and can accommodate from 16 to 216 players. It is an ideal place for an outdoor wedding event or a golf charity event. In spring and summer, it is simply stunning but the orangey leaves and white snowy blanketing are also quite beautiful to behold.
